lc23tina's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sam the turkey. Sam (my turkey) turned out wonderful. I had to name him, there was just something about me shoving my hand in his ass that made me think we should have been introduced. Sam was my first ever turkey. Mmmmmmmm. Dinner went off without a hitch, everyone got along and to my suprise we fit 11 people in my small apartment. I started my "own" tradition this year, before anyone could eat I made them all say what they were thankful for. I never did that in my home growing up, we said grace and then ate. I said a wee (10 minute) speech, and then we broke open the knives and started to carve Sam. He was definatly the STAR of the show. We ate like little pigs, laughed, talked and had a wonderful time.
